The Mummy is one of my favorite movies. The Mummy Returns is not as good but I like to watch it while I’m sewing. The sai fighting scene is my favorite part of the whole movie (despite the incongruity of medieval Japanese farmer weapons being used by the Egyptian elite).
This was my first serious attempt at a costume, made long before I knew what cosplay was. I think I caught the costuming bug from making this costume!
