I think the eyeliner decided me. How can you resist a costume with that much eyeliner? Oh and the armor is nifty too.
The armor was made from cast polyurethane resin, the helmets are part vacuum-formed, part resin, and the shields are heat-shaped polycarbonate foam. It was quite the learning experience making these.
One of my all time favorite cosplay moments was the absolute shock from the audience at Comic-Con when we took off our helmets and they realized we were all girls.
