Aida is one of my favorite Takarazuka shows. These costumes are from the wonderfully tragic ending scene.
I made both costumes and the huge bulk of my time was spent hand beading everything on Aida’s costume.
I was really hoping we would be able to take photos at the Luxor while in Las Vegas, but it was raining buckets the day we wanted to shoot. So instead we used a studio setting and we had some issues with the equipment which is why the studio photos have weird lighting.
