Thank you lionboogy for the awesome Terry McGinnis and Melanie Walker photos!

I have been waiting to do this cosplay for 3 years! I did a Ten costume for Halloween in 2002 cause I’m a Batman Beyond nut and then like any cosplayer of the internet age, I went online looking for other BB cosplayers. In case you’ve never gone looking, I’ll just tell you that there is a serious dearth of them. The one group I turned up was some guy named Wayne who not only had Terry McGinnis and Batman costumes, but had a friend dressed as Blight too. Ok, that just rocks. ^_^

So I emailed (translation: stalked) waynekaa and we got to be friends, but in the 3 years that I’ve know him, I have never been able to convince him to wear either costume again. And I tried. Lots.

Turns out that it takes a hot chick (specifically, rurouni_jedi) to convince Wayne to wear the costume again. I’ll take whatever help I can get. =D Thanks girl!

So here we are, 3 years later and I finally got my Terry and Melanie cosplay photos and I am a happy happy kitty.

(Uh yes, the hair is kinda tragic but it actually kinda looks like that in the cartoon! ^^;)

Went to SF on Saturday with kitkat_nap, praedestinatio, and ziggybecket in our Gilgamesh costumes and dmk26 as our photographer. Highlights included changing on a side street next to the very busy Embarcadero, walking through the Union Square shopping crowds to get to the subway, taking over an entire car of the BART train, and having everyone it the subway station stop and stare at us. Actually there was a lot of stopping and staring everywhere we went. ^_^’

Server went down in flames last night and apparently the last backup was Dec. 1st, so I’m back to old site again. I’m not even going to go into the long list of things that went wrong with this. =P

I’ll work on getting the new site back up this weekend.
