Unpacked the new serger last night and have decided that its name is Hal. In the tradition of naming my machines after homicidal AIs, this one is Hal from 2001. I haven’t tested it out yet but it looks fairly friendly and Hal wasn’t really an evil AI so that works. If it makes me bleed though, I’m renaming it to Skynet. =P
So yeah, new serger! Bought with the bonus I think I’m supposed to be getting soon for conscripting ghostfaceposta, who I’m sure loves me now considering he’s had to work the last 4+ weekends in a row. ^^;
In other news, we are actually being good about going to the gym. Who’s utterly out of shape? Yeah that would be me. =P I am learning how to use the blasted elliptical machine thing. I didn’t fall off it yesterday which is a major accomplishment for me.
I cut my shirt for my Melenie Walker costume yesterday which waynekaa and I have decided to wear next Sunday at JTAF. The costume has a pink miniskirt. PINK!!! How’s that for devotion? I love Batman Beyond enough to actually wear pink.
