The day after the wedding reception, Judy and I got on the Eurostar to go to Paris.
The new Pancras Station. It’s really pretty!

Remember that part about being lousy tourists? Yeah, we didn’t bother going into anything in Paris either. =D (We just like to walk around and hang out at places.)
Here is the Louvre… from the outside.

All the structures in Paris are so pretty.

With the help of our tour guide and host, Sumreen, we were able to rent bikes and bike through Paris. It was probably my favorite part of the Paris trip.
And positively terrifying to go through the huge roundabouts on a bike. =P

The weather was crappy and we got rained on… again.

Uh, remember that part about my lense being unable to take photos of large objects? Yeah.
Well, it’s not like you haven’t seen better photos of the Eiffel Tower anyways. =D

We were introduced to Chocolat Viennois, which is the fancy term for unsweetened hot chocolate with a ridiculous amount of whipped cream on top. I’m still not sure why they don’t just sweeten the hot chocolate for you.

L’arc de Triomphe.

I just liked the Shrooms poster. The poster above that that got cut off is that geisha movie with the chick from Kamikaze Girls (Anna something). I didn’t realize it until after we walked away so no good photos of it.

Neato car at the Toyota dealership.

Our favorite place to veg and eat and get fat in Paris: Laduree!

They’re famous for their macaroons.

Food pr0n. YUMMMM.

Uh, we bought a lot of stuff from Laduree… and it wasn’t just because the containers were so pretty. Really.

Notre Dame.

The one building we actually did go into!

I love this photo of Judy.

Modernized confessionals. How cool is that?! =D

Sacre Coeur. Actually, we didn’t want to come here originally because it’s advertised as being a popular tourist spot because of the bestseller book, Da Vinci Code, which Judy and I both hated. =D But dmk26 convinced us to check it out because it was pretty.

How Judy spent a lot of our vacation: looking at maps so we wouldn’t get lost. =D

I just found this amusing cause there’s a shop with the same name in Tokyo we like to go to.

Paris has a bit of a graffiti problem which is kind of sad, but this one was neat.

^___^ @ the spelling of Mummy.

Moulin Rouge!

Judy and I hanging out at the end of our second day in Paris. We just sat around the Champs d’Elysee for an hour or so and waylaid English speaking tourists to take photos of us. It took us 3 tries to find someone who managed to take a decent photo. =D

And a random photo that Jess took of me that I really liked.
