This shoot was inspired by Vogue’s Asia Major photoshoot. We loved the contrast of the punk hair with the high end evening gowns, so we decided to do our own twist with historical Victorian ballgowns.
We raided the Los Angeles Fabric District and found a silk fabric that come in a bunch of different colorways. Each person designed and made their own dresses. The hair pieces were made by Elizabeth Hardin.
For the record, I tried to pick another color because I already have so many green dresses, but no one else wanted green… =D
