So shinbios is cooped up at my place sewing like a good little elf for AX. I asked him to keep an eye out for some ribbon I bought on Friday and couldn’t find this morning. He just told me he found it near one of the sewing machines.

There are 5 machines out in our living room. EVERYTHING is near a sewing machine right now. =D
You know… anyone on the outside of the cosplay world watching us, could conceivably think of cosplaying as a big cult thing. There is some mystical date upcoming (that has nothing to do with a comet) and as the impending date approaches everyone gets progressively more suicidal and delirious and hysterical.

Ok it’s a stretch but you gotta wonder what non-cosplayers think when they see all these journal entries of people having meltdowns.
Actually, I am remarkably unstressed about cosplay. I’m stressed but it’s all coming from my work deadlines. I just got one out of the way today so I got one more to go. If I don’t figure out this bug soon though, I’m still gonna go nuts.
AX status: I got a bit left on Nanao; a top and boots for Kizna; and feathering wings for Touki. It’d be manageable if it weren’t for the work deadlines, so we’ll see how it goes. I’ve gotten pretty zen about it… it’ll get done or it won’t, and that’s that.
