For our holiday card, we did a Moana theme. The girls were obviously Moana, and Marcus and I dressed up as Moana’s parents. (The parents actually have names! Of course, I had to Google to find them…)
I cut craft foam to create stamps and using acrylic paint mixed with fabric medium, stamped all the designs on to the fabric. It worked really well for smaller designs, like those on Sina’s skirt, but was a lot harder to do well in huge blocks, like on Tui’s outfit. We hired a local henna tattoo artist to do the tattoos on Marcus and they came out amazing!
All the photos were shot on a green screen so we could Photoshop in the beach scene.
